Service Terms & Conditions

   These Terms and Conditions govern the agreement between Let’s Be Friends Afghanistan (LBFA) Tour/Travel agency and the client for tourism services provided by LBFA. The Client agrees to these Terms by booking any services with the LBFA.

 

1. Definitions

  • The LBFA: Refers to Let’s Be Friends Afghanistan as a local tourism service provider operating in Afghanistan.

  • The Client: The individual or entity booking and paying for the LBFA's services.

  • The Services: All tourism-related services offered by the LBFA, including Accommodation, transportation, breakfast, water guiding, Domestic flights, pick-ups and drops, site entry fees, and permits.

  • Not included: Visa fees, international flights, local clothing, SIM cards, Lunch and dinner, tips or souvenirs, necessary medications, and any other items not mentioned above.

2. Booking and Payment

  • A deposit of 20% is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.

  • Full payment is due as cash on arrival before the commencement of the Services.

  • Payment can be made via PayPal, Bank Transfer, Western Union, or Money Gram; all fees must be paid in USD.

 

3. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Client Cancellation:

    • LBFA will receive 20% of the deposit to cover admin costs and the rest will be refunded if the cancellation is made by client 30 days before the services start.

    • LBFA will receive 50% of the deposit to cover admin costs and the rest will be refunded if the cancellation is made by client 15-29 days before the services start.

    • LBFA will NOT refund the deposit if the cancellation is made by client 14 days before the services start. Except in exceptional cases at the discretion of the LBFA.

  • LBFA Cancellation:

    • The LBFA reserves the right to cancel any services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to security concerns, weather conditions, or lack of participation.

    • In the event of cancellation by the LBFA, the Client will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule the Services.

 

4. Changes to Itinerary

  • The LBFA reserves the right to alter the itinerary for operational or safety reasons. Any significant changes will be communicated to the Client as soon as possible.

  • If the Client wishes to change the itinerary, this must be communicated in writing and may incur additional costs.

 

5. Liability and Insurance

  • The LBFA has always been highly careful, with 0 incidents so far; however, is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property resulting from services provided. The Client agrees to assume all risks associated with the Services.

  • The Client is advised but not limited to obtaining comprehensive travel insurance covering all activities, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.

 

6. Visa and Travel Documentation

  • The Client is responsible for obtaining a valid visa and ensuring their passport and other travel documents are in order before the commencement of the services.

  • The LBFA will provide assistance, guidance and support with visa invitation letters where applicable.

 

7. Health and Safety

  • The Client is responsible for ensuring they are in good health and physically able to participate in the services.

  • The LBFA will not be liable for any health-related issues arising during the Services.

 

8. Guides and Language

  • The LBFA will provide an experienced qualified guide for the duration of the Services. English-speaking guides are available; however, other languages may be available upon request and subject to availability.

  • The Client agrees to follow the instructions and guidelines provided by the guide for safety and security.

  • The Client agrees to be respectful and follow the dos and don’ts briefed before the commencement of our tour.

 

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved amicably through negotiation.

  • If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be referred to the jurisdiction of the courts of Afghanistan.

 

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Afghanistan.

 

11. Acceptance of Terms

  • By booking the Services with the LBFA, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Refund Policy

At Let’s Be Friends Afghanistan (LBFA), we strive to provide exceptional travel experiences for our clients. However, we understand that plans can change, and unforeseen circumstances may arise. This refund policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds will be processed for our services. We usually receive a 20% deposit during the booking process.

1. Cancellations by the Client

  • Cancellation within 30 days before the tour date:

    • LBFA will receive 20% of the deposit to cover admin costs and the rest will be refunded if the cancellation is made by client 30 days before the services start.

  • Cancellation Between 15 to 29 Days Prior to the Tour Date:

    • LBFA will receive 50% of the deposit to cover admin costs and the rest will be refunded if the cancellation is made by client 15-29 days before the services start.

  • Cancellation Less Than 15 Days Prior to the Tour Date:

    • LBFA will NOT refund the deposit if the cancellation is made by client 14 days before the services start. Except in exceptional cases at the discretion of the LBFA.

2. Cancellations by the LBFA

  • Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances:

    • The LBFA reserves the right to cancel any services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to security concerns, weather conditions, or lack of participation.

    • In the event of cancellation by the LBFA, the Client will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule the Services.

 

3. Refund Processing

  • Refund Timeframe:

    • Refunds will be processed within 7 business days from the date of cancellation.

  • Method of Refund:

    • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. If the original payment method is no longer available, please contact our customer service team to arrange an alternative.

4. Special Circumstances

  • Medical Emergencies:

    • If a client must cancel due to a medical emergency, we may consider a partial or full refund upon receiving appropriate documentation (e.g., a medical certificate).

  • Force Majeure:

    • In the event of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), refunds may be issued according to the specific circumstances and any applicable government regulations.

 

5. Changes to the Policy

  • Policy Updates:

    • This refund policy is subject to change. Any changes will be communicated to clients via our website and/or email.
