Detailed Summary
Day 1 Kabul Arrival
Upon arrival at the hotel, there will be a briefing. Afterwards, you will have time to visit the bird market, which is known as the oldest part of Kabul. Here, birds from all over the world are exhibited, and it's not just a bird market but also a bustling area with blacksmiths, sellers, old shops, and more. You will encounter people from different ethnicities and places in Afghanistan. Following that, you will visit the Sakhi Shrine, an old turquoise-tiled mosque located in the west of Kabul. This shrine is considered very sacred to Shia Muslims, as they believe it to be the final resting place of Hazrati Ali, the cousin of the Prophet Muhammad.

Day 2 Kabul-Bamyan
Early in the morning we will leave hotel hiting the road towards Bamyan and while in Bamyan we will have time to visit Buddha Niches. The Buddha’s of Bamyan were two 6th century monumental statues of standing Buddha carved into the side of a cliff in the Bamyan valley in the peaceful Hazarajat region of central Afghanistan and were dynamited and destroyed in March 2001 by the Taliban. Shahr-e Gholghola also (City of Screams) is 13th century city in Bamyan, Afghanistan which was conquered by Gengis Khan after months of surrounding. The ruins still remain close to the Bamyan town and Shahr-e Zuhak also known as The Red City is an historic city ruins in Bamyan, Afghanistan which was once home to 3,000 people. This city used to be primary defence for the basin.

Day 3 Lapis Lazuli Blue lakes of Band-e-Ameer
Day five would be a day to visit the blue lakes of Band-e-Amir, a series of six deep blue lakes separated by natural dams made of travertine, a mineral deposit. The name Band-e Amir literally means "Commander's Dam" which is believed by some to be reference to Ali, the first Imam of Muslims (Shias) and the fourth Caliph of Islam (to Sunnis) and The area is dominated by ethnic Hazaras, who make up around 23% of Afghanistan's population. Band-e Amir was to become Afghanistan's first national park in the 1960s but this was delayed due to political crises and the decades of wars. In 2004, Band-e Amir was submitted for recognition as a World Heritage site. In 2009, Band-e Amir was finally declared Afghanistan's first national park. As of 2013 tourists visit the Band-e Amir National Park every year. Journey back to Kabul.

Day 4 Flight to Kandahar and around
Flight to Kandahar in the morning. You will start Kandahar tour with visiting the Tomb Hotak Dynasti Mirwas, Chilzina and the Red Mosque in the afternoon.
Baba Wali Shrine: Sitting on the banks of the Arghandab River is the Baba Wali Shrine, also known as Baba Sahib by Kandaharis. It provides a great view to the verdant Arghandab Valley, which is in stark contrast to the rest of the dusty province. The multi-level shrine, marble and mirror-clad, set into a hillside is a popular picnic place for the Kandaharis, with hand made ice cream and local fruit juices available from cart vendors.visiting the tomb of Ahmad shah durani the founder of the Durrani Empire and is regarded as the founder of the modern state of Afghanistan. In July 1747, Ahmad Shah was appointed as the King of Afghanistan, "King, Pearl of Pearls," and changed the name of his Abdali tribe to "Durrani" after himself.

Day 5 Kandahar to Lashkarghah
"Remember to visit Qala-e-Bost, also known as the Bost Castle, a fortress near Lashkargah in Helmand. Qala-e-Bost is well-known for its 11th-century decorative arch, which is featured on the 100 Afghani Note. The arch is part of the remains of a mosque built in the 11th century by the Ghurid Dynasty. After visiting Qala-e-Bost, drive back to Kandahar."

Day 6 Flight to Kabul and around
Please remember the following plan for our trip in Kabul: We will start by visiting the Shah Do Shamshira Mosque, built in the heart of Kabul city by King Amanullah Khan in memory of the Arab King who forced the people of Kabul into Islam in early 683 using his two swords. In the afternoon, we will visit the Gardens of Babur, also known as Bagh-e Babur, which is a historic park in Kabul and the final resting place of the first Mughal emperor, Babur. The gardens were originally developed around 1528 when Babur ordered the construction of an 'avenue garden' in Kabul, as described in his memoirs, the Baburnama. Finally, we will take you to Bibi Mahro Hills for an overall view of Kabul city.

Depending on your schedule, we will show you more of Kabul and ensure you're dropped off at the airport on time for your flight back home.

Visa
We can send you a Letter of Invitation (LoI) from our company to help with your visa application. Though not strictly speaking a requirement for a tourist visa, most Afghan Embassies and Consulates will ask for this when you you make your application. We will also send you a copy of our Registered Licence as an Afghan Governement approved Tour Operator.
Security
We are member of Afghanistan NGO Security Organization (ANSO) that reports any security issues, as they happen, around Afghanistan. A text message will come to our phone immediately, should there be a security incident, and we can decide what to do and where to go in a second.
